Scene 1: Miguel sang the song that Hector wrote for his daughter Coco to make her remember Hector. Suddenly, Coco sang along with him and give Hector’s picture to Miguel.

Response: I used to sing some songs for my grandmother and she also sung along with me especially when I sung her favorite songs. Even though they have already passed away, her memories will still be remembered. We will sing all her favorite song as long as we live. My grandmother died at the age of 78 and her favorite song is I believe.

Response: I admired him because not all of us have a courage to do the things that we want. Just like him, my parents didn’t like the course I want to study which is Culinary Arts and BS in Marine Transportation because it is not in demand and they felt that I will be too far away from them.

Response: Sometimes we become confused on something. Like Miguel, he thought that everything he knows are true but it turns out that everything was a lie. When I was still an elementary student there are thoughts playing in my mind. There were things that everything I knew was right but it was not.

Response: My parents didn’t allow me to do the things I want just like Miguel but still they can’t do anything against my decision. Freely doing the things I want is really hard. As a son, I need to follow the rules that was given by my parents. Like being friends whom I don’t know and going home tardily.

Response: Ernesto Dela Cruz proved that everyone have secrets that i yet to be unfolded. We, ourselves, have our own flaws and weaknesses regardless of what have we become. This scene supports the quote “The end does not justify the means” which means a person will do anything to achieve something whether in a good or bad way like what Ernesto Dela Cruz did. He thought that murdering and stealing Hector’s guitar and songs are the easiest way to achieve fame. Just like what I’ve experienced before, to have a high score on a quiz I copied some answers from my classmates instead of reviewing the past lessons. Ernesto Dela Cruz represents the persons who are pessimistic, desperate and willing to do bad things or worst commit a crime just to achieve the things they want to have in their lives. Way back when I was in 3rd grade, I started to have my skin allergy. At that time, I am really sad and felt anger towards myself because I am giving my parents such problems. Also, it tells us to be careful in choosing our friends. Sometimes the person you expect will lift you up turns out to be the one who will drag you down. I remember when I am still a Grade 9 students, my classmate and copied some answers from our other classmates during exams. But when our teacher asked us if we are copying, she said that it’s only me who is copying and not her.

Response: Even though how much they stop me from doing what I want, I still want to know the reasons behind of every situations. My mother did not allow me to have a boyfriend and I always ask her why I shouldn’t have one.

Scene 8: Abuelita destroyed Miguel’s guitar because Abuelita don’t want anyone of their family to be involved in music so Miguel decided to steal Ernesto Dela Cruz’s guitar.

Response: Just like Miguel, No one can stop me from doing the thing I want. Even though they stop me many times, it is not the reason for me to give up the things I love because I know it will be beneficial. My mom wants me to stop watching kdramas but I didn’t listen to her because I know it can help me sooner or later when I get the chance to go to South Korea.
